Irish Coffee Recipe : Ingredients:
  • 4 oz. hot coffee
  • 21/2 oz. Irish whiskey
  • 1 teaspoon of raw sugar
  • 1 heaped desert spoon of whipped cream
Preparation:
  • Heat a coffee glass
  • Pour in one measure of Irish Whiskey
  • Add 2 - 2 teaspoons of sugar.
  • Fill the glass with strong black coffee, to within one centimetre of the rim
  • Stir well to disolve sugar
  • Top off rim with a heaped desert spoon of lightly whipped cream, slightly areated so that cream floats on top.
  • Do not stir after adding cream, as the true flavour is obtained by drinking the hot coffee and Irish Whiskey through the cream
